Fleetcor, an NYSE-listed business payments and spend management company, saw an opportunity to lead the shift toward EV and digital payments. As digitisation and decarbonisation reshape the industry, Fleetcor needed to harness these waves of change to modernise, innovate, and deliver new value to customers.
Since 2021, and jump has partnered with Fleetcor to embed customer-centric innovation into their digital strategy. Through experience design, rapid prototyping, and strategic insight, we’ve helped unlock new opportunities that accelerate their EV leadership and digital transformation goals.

Phase 2
Digital vision and experience strategy
We united creativity, analytical rigour, and evidence to craft a vision and experience strategy that the whole business could get behind and confidently execute.
We started with deep market and audience analysis, uncovering patterns, trends, and competitive gaps. Using our digital performance methodology, we benchmarked Fleetcor against its sector, analyzing 12,000 data points to identify strengths, opportunities, and areas of differentiation.
Armed with insight, we designed vision workshops with leadership and management, getting them to think differently, adopt an empathetic mindset, and redefine how Fleetcor creates value in a rapidly evolving market.
This became the springboard for transformation. We mapped the end-to-end experience across the four business regions, identifying strategic growth and innovation opportunities. The outcome was a clear, actionable roadmap to seamlessly unite payments and mobility.
We played back our findings, got buy-in, and started making key opportunities real.

Digital Innovation in Electric Vehicle
Fleet operators face mounting pressure to transition to greener business models and adopt EVs. Yet many—especially SMEs—lack the tools, data, and technology to make the shift confidently.
Fleetcor asked and jump to innovate new EV features for their online platform, ensuring their customers could navigate this transition seamlessly.
We ran our custom design sprint, identifying opportunities and developing a new service that puts customer needs at the core. First-hand research was a game-changer. By deeply understanding fleet operators’ challenges, we uncovered breakthrough EV ideas and validated solutions that weren’t just innovative—but genuinely worked.
More than just generating ideas, this process united teams, instilled confidence, and validated Fleetcor’s experience strategy. The result? A clear roadmap to be the leader in EV.

New product and content system
The experience strategy showed that the fleet industry is at a turning point—increasing digitisation and fintech-inspired experiences are essential for businesses to operate efficiently.
With the 2030 Net Zero target approaching, Fleetcor saw an opportunity to lead the transition and position itself as a pioneer in EV and business payments. To make this vision a reality, they asked us to create a new digital brand and experience for Allstar—the UK’s market-leading fuel, EV, and expense card provider, serving businesses with 1.2 million cards in circulation.
Customers rely on Allstar for payments, real-time fuel pricing, and industry insights. To strengthen this value proposition, we partnered with Fleetcor to design and implement a new digital brand, product, and content system—one that could scale across Allstar and be applied globally.
By combining strategy, experience design, and technology, we helped Allstar evolve into a future-ready, customer-centric platform, reinforcing its leadership in the fleet and payments space.
