Vision, Experience Strategy and roadmap
We triangulated technology trends and customer and market insight to create a new vision and experience strategy that united payments and mobility.

Digital Innovation in Electric Vehicle
Using our custom design sprint, we identified opportunities, innovated new EV features for the online platform and developed a new service.

To showcase the offering, we digitised the brand, modernised the customer experience and built a modular product and content system for global rollout.

Phase 2
Digital vision and experience strategy
We united creativity, rigour, and evidence to create a vision and experience strategy that the whole business could get behind and execute.
We started by deeply understanding the market and audience to spot patterns and trends. Using our digital performance methodology, we benchmarked and indexed Fleetcor against its sector using 12,000 data points.
Armed with insight, we designed vision workshops with leadership and management, getting them to think differently and with empathy on how we create value.
This became the springboard to map the end-to-end experience across the four business regions, showing the opportunities for growth and innovation alongside a clear strategy and roadmap to unite payments and mobility.
We played back our findings, got buy-in, and started making key opportunities real.

What we discovered
Net Zero is changing the logistics industry at its core. Despite wanting to transition to greener business models, 80% of UK businesses are SMEs without the capability and capacity to make the shift.
Our research showed that the experience of transitioning to electric scored 3.8 out of 10.
Fleet operators want access to the latest tools, information and technology to connect different parts of the business, manage assets and compete in the modern green economy. Those who help them connect the dots, win.

Phase 3
Digital Innovation in Electric Vehicle
Fleet operators are under pressure to transition to greener business models and EVs. But many, particularly SMEs, lack the tools, information, and technology to make the shift.
Fleetcor asked and jump to innovate new EV features for their online platform. We ran our custom design sprint to identify opportunities and develop a new service.
Putting customer-centricity at the heart of the process and running first-hand research became a game-changer.
Not only did the insights identify breakthrough EV ideas and solutions, but they also united teams, gave confidence, and validated the experience strategy, showing a greater opportunity to be the leader in EV.

Phase 4
New product and content system
The experience strategy showed the fleet industry needs greater digitisation and more Fintech-type experiences.
With the 2030 Net-Zero target approaching, Fleetcor wants to position itself as a leader and innovator in EV and business payments.
It asked us to create a new digital brand and experience for Allstar, the UK’s market-leading fuel, EV and expense card providers for businesses, with 1.2 million cards in circulation. Customers rely on Allstar for payments, managing spend, checking fuel prices, and discovering the latest fleet news and trends.
We partnered with the business to deliver a new digital brand, product, and content system that could be applied to Allstar and globally.
