Our discover-by-doing process delivers results in just 10 days
Accelerate innovation. Drive positive change
Stakeholders need concrete solutions and evidence to commit to the next stage of innovation.
Designed for today's fast-paced environment, our bespoke Design Sprint empowers teams to solve problems and share progress.
By extending the prototyping and testing phase, we deliver robust, customer-validated prototypes and pilots that drive real business impact, proving change is possible, and innovation is within reach.
10 days. What happens, when.
Identifying the right customers is crucial. They are the central characters in the story of the product or service. Understanding their needs, motivations, and pain points is fundamental to crafting a solution that resonates.
People
Catering to users’ preferences and usage habits enhances accessibility and usability. Considering the device landscape during the design sprint enables the team to anticipate and address potential challenges or limitations early in development.
Place
Distilling the essence of the product’s core features and functionalities to address the needs and desires of its users directly. By aligning the product’s capabilities with user expectations, the purpose of the sprint is to create a solution that solves a problem, delights users, and enhances their overall experience.
Purpose
The narrative or story that the prototype needs to convey to users. The prototype should guide users through a cohesive and engaging experience that communicates the value proposition and functionality of the proposed solution.
Plot
Higher-fidelity prototyping not only helps stakeholders better visualize the intended user experience but also instils confidence in the solution's feasibility and potential impact. Furthermore, a more polished prototype makes it easier for stakeholders to understand and evaluate the proposed solution, facilitating more constructive feedback and discussions.
Prototype
Customer experience is at the heart of the process.
A more thorough testing phase in our process uncovers deeper insights, identifies nuanced user behaviours, and refines the product with actual customer insights. This approach ensures comprehensive validation and produces a more polished and user-friendly result.
Optimized User Experience
User testing provides insights to enhance how users engage with your product, boosting satisfaction and retention.
Refined Functionality
User feedback helps identify and fix issues, ensuring the prototype meets customer needs effectively.
Increased Conversion
Understanding user preferences enables targeted improvements, driving higher engagement and conversion rates.
Stakeholder buy-in
Concrete user feedback builds confidence among stakeholders, aligning teams and ensuring support for product development.

This all sounds great! But I have more questions!
-
A design sprint is a structured process for solving design problems rapidly through prototyping and user testing.
-
The key stages are understanding, diverging, converging, prototyping, and testing. We put our own spin on this and run our 5P process.
-
A typical design sprint lasts five consecutive days. However, we flesh out the prototyping and testing phases. Spending more time on them allows us to refine the experience, gain insight from your customers, and deliver a more robust prototype.
-
We believe that by extending the time for prototyping and testing, you arrive at a better solution that users have validated, and you can get stakeholder buy-in quicker.
-
Prototyping allows teams to visualise and test potential solutions quickly.
-
User testing is conducted to gather feedback on the prototype and validate assumptions.
-
Yes. Design sprints can be run successfully for remote teams using digital collaboration tools. We use Miro, but other solutions you might prefer are fine, too!
-
Design sprints foster innovation by enabling rapid iteration and validation of ideas.
-
Design sprints are effective for tackling complex problems that require creative solutions, such as product design challenges or process improvements.
-
The facilitator guides the sprint process, keeps the team focused, and ensures that objectives are met.
-
The outcomes can inform further development, refine product features, or even pivot direction based on user feedback.
-
Common challenges include time constraints, divergent opinions, and the need to balance creativity with practicality.
-
Digital product design involves creating user-centered digital experiences, encompassing interfaces, interactions, and user flows.
-
Key principles include user-centricity, simplicity, consistency, accessibility, and scalability.
-
User research informs design decisions by uncovering user needs, behaviours, and pain points, ensuring products meet user expectations.
-
Prototyping allows designers to visualize and test product concepts, iteratively refining designs before development.
-
Usability testing identifies usability issues and gathers feedback from real users, enabling designers to optimize product usability and user satisfaction.
